RACHEL REID – BIOGRAPHY

Rachel Reid a Minister of the Gospel, inspired and anointed woman of God who through word and song presents the Good News of Jesus Christ. She is known for her powerful singing and ministry of worship. Rachel demonstrates the joy of a true worshiper and encourages youth, children, men and women of every age to experience freedom of God through music.

As a minister of worship, teacher, and psalmist she has led thousands of people to a saving knowledge of Jesus through concerts, conferences, churches, schools, and events around the world. Rachel shares, “Many people think that worship is when the slow music portion of the service begins. I want to share with everyone that Worship is a lifestyle.”

God began to broaden her territory of ministry in 2001 and she established Power of Music Ministries. Since then, her ministry expanded as she recorded several music albums and penned several books. She also began creating preaching and teaching sessions, along with a Worship Symposium. Singing and sharing the gospel also in Spanish has opened the doors to the Latin community.

In addition to all her previous ministry work, Minister Rachel Reid has also been involved with many missionary outreaches to the Dominican Republic, Australia, Mexico and the United States. Her ministry and music has been featured on Trinity Broadcasting Network, Sky Angel and many others along with several radio stations nationwide. She has hosted a morning drive radio show, was a freelance contributing editor for the Good News Etc. newspaper, for a large publication in San Diego, California in which she wrote the music column and new artist highlight section.

Further extending her ministry, in 2004 she established Foundation 61 Inc. a non-profit organization geared towards community outreach in which the children and youth mentorship program (ages 5-17) S.O.L.D.I.E.R.S. was also created.

As a wife and mother, Minister Rachel Reid understands the everyday challenges of trying to balance ministry and family. Through experiences, she has learned that Jesus must be the center of every day in the lifestyle you live. This explosive ministry encourages audiences out of their comfort zone, to seek the presence of God through everyday worship and to walk in the authority and freedom of God. Always knowing that one can be free by the power of God…through the Power of Music!
